This is a page for me to log EverQuest info as a returning player, having taken a hiatus from 2009 to 2022.

I grouped from Velius through Luclin, raided from Luclin through Prophecy of Ro, and solod/grouped during The Serpent's Spine - all on my Barbarian Shaman, Samanna. I was even an SOE Community Rep, ran the Shaman (and later also Paladin) class forums, and Sony flew me to San Diego a couple of times. It looks like various group-mob dropped Defiant gear will be the best possible option to L75, followed by a new set every 15 levels or so. I'll see when I get there.

Made a new Barbarian Shaman, Samannagain this past weekend. Did some Tutorial quests, some Crescent Reach quests, and the first Plane of Knowledge non-visible armor quest (Blackburrow). Ding 13. Daily quests start at L20.
